At Steer Automotive Group, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding repairs and exceptional customer service. We are looking for an experienced and organised Workshop Controller to manage workflow, maximise efficiency, and ensure repairs are completed to the highest standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
14. Overseeing daily workshop activity to ensure jobs are completed on time and to specification
15. Allocating work to technicians based on skills, workload, and priorities
16. Monitoring progress, quality, and productivity, resolving any issues that arise
17. Checking Stage repairs are complete prior to moving the vehicle through the various stages of repair
18. Liaising with parts, customer service, and VDA teams to maintain a smooth repair process
19. Checking quality of repair at each stage
20. Promoting a safe, compliant, and well-organised working environment
What We’re Looking For
21. Proven experience in a workshop controller, senior technician, or similar role within the accident repair industry
22. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team
23. Solid understanding of repair processes and bodyshop operations
24. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
25. A commitment to integrity, teamwork, and delivering work of the highest quality
