Job Title: Specification Sales Manager
Area to be covered: North East & Yorkshire

Role:
* Responsible for sales of a high-quality range of unique commercial flooring products.
* Develop excellent relationships within the local A&D communities.
* Secure 100% commercial projects such as hotels, restaurants, office spaces, retail, education, healthcare, and other non-residential projects.
* Manage a successful territory currently turning over approximately £900k per annum.
* Focus on developing A&D relationships in the region, both existing and new.
* Work closely with the contractor sales team to ensure maximum specification delivery.
* Selling high-end products based on quality rather than price.
* Develop main cities in Yorkshire and North East with established interior design practices.
Person:
* Must have a demonstrable track record in A&D specification sales of interior products.
* Ideally possess a client base of A&D design practices within the region.
* Experienced in securing commercial projects such as hospitality, retail, workplace, healthcare, and education.
* Proven track record of selling interior products like flooring, carpet, wall coverings, fabric, ceilings, partitioning, furniture, or related products to developers.
* Strategic and consultative sales approach, comfortable selling high-value products.
* Tactile sales background, selling aesthetically pleasing items, preferably flooring-related.
* Team player, energetic, passionate, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator.
* Strong commercial and presentation skills.
Industry sectors include A&D, architects and interior designers, specifiers, flooring contractors, fit-out contractors, education, building surveyors, letting agents, estate management, and local authorities.
