Our vision is to redefine Signal Management, Connectivity, and Control Solutions by producing innovative and practical products that simplify installation experiences.\n\nJob Summary\n\nOur client is seeking a meticulous Production Test Technician to ensure all audio visual (AV) electronic products meet performance, reliability, and quality standards before deployment.
This hands-on role bridges engineering and production, with a focus on testing, fault diagnosis, and continuous improvement.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nConduct functional and performance tests on AV electronic products and subassemblies using diagnostic equipment and bespoke test rigs.\nDocument and analyse test results, ensuring compliance with internal specifications and industry standards (e.g., CE, FCC).\nIdentify and troubleshoot faults in PCBs, wiring, firmware, and interface connections; escalate unresolved issues to engineering.\nCollaborate with production teams to streamline test workflows and ensure traceability of outcomes.\nMaintain calibration records and ensure that test equipment is up to standard and used correctly.\nSupport root-cause analysis and corrective action processes for recurring product issues.\nContribute to continuous improvement initiatives, feedback loops, and process documentation.\nAssist in prototype testing and provide feedback on manufacturability and serviceability.Required Skills and Experience\n\nProven experience in a test technician role within electronics or AV manufacturing.\nSolid understanding of electronic components, schematics, and AV signal types (HDMI, RS232, audio protocols, etc.).\nProficiency in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers, and automated test platforms.\nAbility to work independently with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.\nStrong documentation habits and ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical teams.\nFamiliarity with ESD-safe handling and ISO-based quality systems.Desirable Qualifications\n\nBTEC, HNC/HND, or equivalent in Electronics or a related field.\nExperience with embedded systems and firmware testing.\nKnowledge of Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
