Support worker required for 39 hours per week in Accrington
Alternative Futures Group (AFG) is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Accrington. This full‑time role offers 39 flexible hours per week, a pay rate of £12.60 per hour, and comprehensive training from day one.
About the role
AFG provides personalized support to people with a range of care needs, including Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Mental Health Concerns, Complex Care, and Substance Misuse issues. The role involves working in community‑based settings, independent hospitals, and adult care homes, providing 24‑hour support through varied shift patterns.
Shift patterns
Flexible shifts may include Days, Waking Nights, Sleep‑ins, and Weekends.
Responsibilities
* Work independently and as part of a team to deliver personalized, outcome‑focused care plans.
* Support clients in their own homes and in AFG’s care facilities.
* Provide 24‑hour support according to the flexible shift schedule.
* Maintain high standards of care and adapt support to the needs of each client.
Qualifications & Skills
* Good verbal and written communication.

* Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently.
