We are seeking a talented fabricator to join our workshop, working alongside an experienced colleague in our fabrication department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in restoring some of the most iconic and valuable classic cars in the world, recreating bodywork and chassis components with an uncompromising standard of detail and finish. Key Responsibilities as a Classic Car Restorer: Recreate complex shapes from sheet metal to restore classic car bodywork. Apply welding and finishing skills to ensure the integrity and presentation of chassis and body structures. Work with both steel and aluminium, with strong MiG and TiG welding skills being highly advantageous. Shape panels with double curvatures by hand or using traditional tools such as English wheels. Understand vehicle construction methods and accurately estimate the time and work required for repairs. Maintain a tidy, well-stocked, and organised working area.
