Position: Production Operative
Location: Paisley, Renfrewshire
Shifts: Monday to Thursday, Day shift 0500-1500
Pay: From per hour, paid weekly
Contract: Temporary to permanent opportunities
About the Role:
Kenect Recruitment is looking for dedicated Food Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing facility specialising in sweet bakery products such as icing sugar, cake fillings, and dessert toppings. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, fast-paced production environment with a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operate mixing and processing machinery to produce bakery products
2. Weigh and measure ingredients accurately according to batch instructions
3. Monitor and perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards
4. Pack, label, and prepare products for shipping and distribution
5. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the production area
6. Follow all health and safety, food safety, and company policies and procedures
7. Heavy lifting, manual lifting of boxes, total weight move in a day is arounf 4000kgs
Requirements:
8. Previous experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not essential; full training will be provided
9. Excellent attention to detail to ensure product quality and consistency
10. Physically able to carry out manual handling tasks such as lifting and moving stock
11. Ability to stay productive and focused in a busy, fast-paced environment
12. Reliable, punctual, and a good team player with a positive attitude
13. Reading and writing required
14. Must have own transport due to start time
