Sponne is an outstanding community comprehensive school with some 1412 students aged 11-18 on roll with 165 staff. The school is part of Tove Learning Trust, comprising of fifteen academies across Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and the West Midlands. Sponne School also has a training school and the Grand Union Training Partnership on site.
Are you passionate about sport and keen to help young people succeed? We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised PE Technician to join our PE Faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a practical, active environment and wishes to play a key role in supporting PE lessons and co-ordination of sporting fixtures. The successful candidate will work closely with staff and provide administration support and will ideally be qualified to instruct or umpire sports, or be willing to do so. Being eligible to drive a minibus would be an advantage but not essential. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to maintain a focus on supporting outstanding teaching and helping to raise student achievement.
