Senior Bid Manager - Communications & Managed Services
Client: Canada Wide Media
Location: Home-based with some travel across the UK. UK travel required.
Salary: £50,000 basic salary plus bonus.
Our client is a Communications & Managed Service Provider delivering services to Enterprise & Government Customers across the UK. They are expanding and seeking an experienced Senior Bid Manager to manage bid management and contract management for the New Business & Account Management sales teams across the UK.
Responsibilities
* Project manage tender responses to win prestigious accounts from initial request to contract delivery.
* Attend meetings with customers and represent the team on projects.
* Respond to national tenders and prepare submissions.
* Maintain accurate record keeping and reporting; support legal negotiation as required.
* Coordinate with virtual team members across all business levels to manage responses under tight deadlines.
* Travel within the UK as needed to support bid activities.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years’ experience as a Tender or Bid Manager, with minimal supervision.
* Strong literacy and numeracy, ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
* Excellent influencing, diplomacy, and teamwork skills; proficiency with spreadsheets and presentation software.
* Experience supporting a busy team of Account Managers and understanding of the Communications marketplace is preferred.
