Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 per annum

The Opportunity
We are working in partnership with a specialist SEMH school in central London who are seeking a passionate and creative Therapist to join their dedicated team. The school is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for young people who face barriers to learning and require tailored emotional and therapeutic support.
This role would ideally suit a qualified Creative Therapist (HCPC registered), within Music, Art, Drama or Dance.
The Role
As a Creative Therapist, you will:
* Deliver engaging 1:1 and group therapy sessions, primarily using music but with scope for other creative approaches.
* Design and implement therapeutic interventions that foster emotional expression, resilience, and wellbeing.
* Collaborate closely with teaching staff, pastoral leads, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support for pupils.
* Contribute to whole-school wellbeing initiatives and promote a therapeutic culture across the setting.
* Keep accurate records and contribute to reports to demonstrate impact and progress.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
* HCPC registered Creative Therapist.
* Experience working with children and young people, ideally within an SEMH, SEN, or alternative provision setting.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
* Creative, adaptable, and resilient in supporting complex needs.
* Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Desirable:
* Experience in a specialist school environment.
* Familiarity with trauma-informed practice.
* Ability to contribute to the wider therapeutic strategy of the school.
