£55,000 – £60,000 per annum + Benefits

Winberry are recruiting for an experienced Senior Technical Manager to join a well‑established food manufacturing business based in Llanelli.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong food manufacturing professional with experience managing customer relationships, driving quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement activities within a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage technical relationships with customers and external stakeholders
* Support customer audits, site visits, and technical reviews
* Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and legal standards
* Work closely with production and operational teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Investigate non‑conformances and implement corrective actions
* Support internal and external audit activities
* Review specifications, technical documentation, and customer requirements
* Assist in maintaining and improving quality management systems
Requirements
* Previous experience within a technical or quality role in food manufacturing
* Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems
* Experience working directly with customers and audits
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
* Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments
Desirable Experience
* HACCP qualification
* Experience working with BRCGS standards
* Retailer‑facing experience
* Food science or related qualification
