As a Senior Ecologist, you will play a key role in shaping ecological strategies, mentoring junior staff, and delivering high-quality ecological advice and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
5. Lead and coordinate ecological surveys and assessments, including protected species and habitat surveys
6. Prepare ecological reports, Environmental Impact Assessments, and planning documents
7. Develop and implement mitigation strategies and biodiversity enhancement plans
8. Manage projects, budgets, and client relationships, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
9. Mentor and support junior ecologists, sharing expertise and fostering professional development
10. Ensure all work complies with UK wildlife legislation, planning policy, and industry best practice
About You
11. Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
12. Significant experience in an ecological consultancy or similar role
13. Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation, planning policy, and survey methodologies
14. Proven experience managing projects and supervising staff
15. Excellent report-writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
16. Full UK driving licence
