Role Overview
Executive Chef Manager to join our team in Edgbaston. You will have prior experience working within a fast‑paced kitchen at Executive Chef/Head Chef level, ideally in contract catering or independent education.
In this role you will create and lead bespoke seasonal menus, ensuring creativity and skill are showcased daily.
Responsibilities
* Operate, monitor and control food production and service to meet high standards.
* Ensure adherence to Fresh Food standards, using local, sustainable, in‑season produce.
* Plan and devise menus for nutritional value and current food styles.
* Deliver prompt service, restock, replenish and anticipate needs.
* Maintain hygienic production, storage and service areas.
* Oversee food safety and hygiene procedures for all staff.
* Communicate with front of house about stock levels and delays.
* Assist in menu planning, rotas and ordering.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
* Attend meetings and training as required.
General Responsibilities
* Attend all staff meetings.
* Enforce policies and procedures in line with legislation and company.
* Maintain professional personal presentation.
* Conduct food temperature checks in service areas.
* Carry out reasonable requests from management.

Knowledge & Competencies
* Good understanding and use of verbal and written English.
* Experience in a customer or food preparation environment.
* Recognised cooking qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent.
* Level 3 food hygiene qualification.
