About the role:
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of care services across a defined project. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Your main duties will include:
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of service users
Offering leadership, managerial direction, guidance, and support to junior staff
Actively promoting the company's equal opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice policies
Working flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to provide management and support to services
Setting, monitoring, and evaluating service standards to improve the quality and performance of the project
Developing and implementing a continuous improvement plan for services in consultation with stakeholders
Acting as a company ambassador both internally and externally
Recruiting, supervising, and managing the performance of the Deputy Service Manager and overseeing the recruitment of care staff
Acting as the responsible person for the service budget
Ensuring that an effective process is in place to respond to, resolve, and evaluate complaints
Registering as the Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission as required
Promoting the health and safety of staff within the work environment
Undertaking travel to different locations as required
Covering for other Scheme/Service Managers during annual leave and unexpected absences
You will work 37.5 hours per week with on-call responsibilities on a rota basisAbout you:
You must comply with all regulatory requirements including registration and inspection processes as laid down by the Care Quality Commission
You will need a good knowledge of computers to use our intranet system
You must have the ability to travel effectively to different locations
