Are you interested in starting your legal experience in Family Law?
We are a small boutique firm based in Penrith with a strong focus on Family Law. Our team is currently seeking a volunteer PLT student who is looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment.
This is a volunteer position, ideal for:
* Law students lacking experience in the legal field, or
* Candidates who need to complete their Practical Legal Training (PLT) placement.
You would be joining us in the office 3-5 days per week (must be available on Thursdays and Fridays) and will be exposed to a range of tasks across family law matters.
Responsibilities include:
* Answering phones and greeting clients
* Taking detailed and accurate client notes
* Conducting legal research
* Assisting with administrative and case preparation tasks
What We're Looking For:
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* A willingness to learn and take initiative
* Good legal research skills
* Professionalism and empathy when dealing with sensitive family law matters
