Administrator (Pre Need) - Casual Hours
£12.71 per hour | Choice Office, Torquay | Working hours: Average 18 hours per week, flexible between Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00.
The Opportunity
Are you a customer‑focused professional with a can‑do attitude and a knack for administration? Choice is looking for a dedicated Administrator to support the sale of funeral plans, provide expert advice, and ensure seamless operations within our extensive network.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service tailored to each customer, ensuring enquiries and specific needs are met.
* Write and distribute emails, memos, letters, and forms, and assist in preparing scheduled reports.
* Handle daily office tasks such as answering calls, processing payments, compiling spreadsheets, and filing.
* Address administrative requests and inquiries from branch employees, customers, and third‑party affiliates.
* Ensure accurate recording of all plan sales and redemptions, maintaining comprehensive administrative records.
* Promote our full range of services, including funeral pre‑need plans.
What We're Looking For
* Customer‑focused and results‑oriented.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Competent in all aspects of administration.
* Strong telephone and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in a fast‑paced environment, able to work under pressure.
* Strong numeracy, literacy, and reasoning abilities.
* Proficient in Microsoft Applications.
Financial Conduct Authority Requirements
* Complete required training and assessments to become a competent plan seller.
* Engage in Continuous Professional Development aligned with FCA requirements.
* Act in accordance with FCA Conduct Rules and Principles.
* Support and consider the needs of vulnerable customers.
