The Role: Secure Today. Protect Tomorrow.
Working from a rural, high-tech site near Northampton, you will manage a complex ecosystem of SQL and NoSQL environments, virtualization, and networking. This isn't just a "maintenance" role; you will be optimizing performance, designing resilient architectures, and occasionally traveling internationally to support high-stakes customer deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Database Mastery: Performance-tuning and maintaining Microsoft SQL Server (Availability Groups/Replication) and MySQL (Galera Clusters).
* Infrastructure Resilience: Configuring firewalls, VPNs, and networking to ensure seamless, secure connectivity.
* Virtualization: Managing vCenter and vSphere environments to host mission-critical applications.
* Global Impact: Providing technical expertise for internal systems and traveling abroad to ensure successful client installations.
* Best Practice: Documenting processes to maintain a standard of excellence across all deployments.
What We Are Looking For

Essential Experience:
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and preferably MySQL.
* Experience with High Availability environments (Clusters, Replication, Galera).
* Solid understanding of Networking & Security (Firewalls, VPN configuration).
* Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere/vCenter).
* A full UK driving license (due to the rural office location).
"Nice to Have" Skills:
* Exposure to Neo4J or Cloud Technologies.
* Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and Active Directory.
* Interest in IoT protocols (MQTT, LoRaWAN) or IP Camera systems.
* Experience delivering technical training to non-technical users.
Why Join This Team?

* Growth: Structured mentoring and a clear path into broader Cyber Security or Lead Infrastructure roles.
* Culture: A collaborative, open-door environment where your voice is heard.
* Purpose: Work on market-leading products that have a genuine real-world impact on global security.
