Amour Recruitment are seeking an experienced LCV Technician / Mechanic to work for our client based in Southampton. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with company policies and procedures within a team.
Duties include:
1. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all LCV vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with legislative requirements.
2. Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard
3. Identify possible warranty claims and escalate these to the appropriate persons.
4. Preventative Maintenance
5. MOT preparation and presentation
Experience required:
6. Fully skilled technician, through a recognised formal training programme (City & Guilds/NVQ) to Level 3.
7. Driving licence essential
8. Post qualification workshop experience in vehicle repairs and maintenance are essential.
Hours are 7-5 Monday to Friday.
