Cover Supervisor – Grimsby

Reed Education are seeking an experienced and confident Cover Supervisor to support a successful secondary school in Grimsby on an ongoing temporary basis.
This role will suit a cover supervisor who enjoys the variety of working across different subjects, can build rapport quickly, and can manage a classroom effectively while delivering pre-planned lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
* Delivering pre-prepared work to students across KS3–KS4
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Supporting students’ learning and ensuring they remain on task
* Providing feedback to teaching staff after each lesson
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or similar classroom-based role
* Confident behaviour-management skills
* Ability to engage and motivate students
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexibility to work across a range of subjects
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
