Serco supports the Fleet Air Arm, including the Wildcat Maritime Force (WMF) at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, providing services from aircraft repair and maintenance to fuel delivery and off-aircraft support. Yeovilton is one of the UK’s busiest military airfields and home to over 100 aircraft.
We have exciting opportunities for Aircraft Engineering Supervisors (Any Trade) (Wildcat) at RNAS Yeovilton. This role involves aircraft management and ground support for Wildcat aircraft. Responsibilities include ensuring contracted tasks meet customer policies and regulations, raising quality issues or business risks, and complying with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete administration duties related to aircraft management.
* Attend further training to develop skills and knowledge.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including HASAW Act 1974 and COSHH.
* Support the maintenance and support of Wildcat aircraft and systems.
* Work effectively under pressure, maintaining operational standards.
Requirements
* Formal training in Wildcat aircraft and trade systems.
* Experience with Wildcat aircraft engineering and systems.
* Certificate of Competency at Supervisor level.
* Understanding of Lean Operating Procedures, Naval Air Publications, and C-IETP.
* Knowledge of engineering and asset management systems.
* Completion or willingness to complete a Human Factors Course.
* Understanding of rotary wing military aviation procedures and airworthiness safety compliance.
* Ability to work productively under tight timescales.
* Ability to achieve SC clearance.

This position is available as either a 38 or 40-hour week, with optional shift work and additional pay for shifts.
