Macclesfield, SK10 2NA

* Full time
* Monday to Friday - site based - 08:30-17:00 (frequent travel to our Liverpool site)
* Up to £75000 per annum plus our Sodexo employee benefits package

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead a large-scale, multi-service contract across catering, soft services, cleaning, and logistics within a complex global account environment.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving profitable growth, operational excellence, and long-term client partnership across a high-value strategic account. You will act as the key interface between the client and operational delivery teams, ensuring services are aligned, commercially sound, and consistently delivered to a high standard.

A strong background in catering management, soft services, and multi-site operations is essential, along with proven experience leading diverse teams in complex operations. This role requires a confident, people-focused leader who can build cohesion, develop teams, and take them on a journey of continuous improvement and performance excellence.


As an Account Manager you'll:

* Lead the delivery of profitable growth across existing and new client contracts
* Develop and maintain long‑term, trusted client relationships at senior level
* Act as the strategic interface between client stakeholders and operational teams
* Own and deliver account development plans, including SLA management and risk mitigation
* Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and service transformation across all areas
* Oversee commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the account
* Lead, develop, and motivate large, multi‑disciplinary teams across catering and soft services
* Ensure consistent delivery of high service standards across catering, cleaning, and logistics
* Embed strong governance, compliance, and health & safety standards across the contract
* Lead change management, mobilisation, and continuous service improvement initiativesSupport succession planning, training, and capability development across the team


What we're looking for:

* Strong background in catering, hospitality, soft services, or facilities management
* Proven experience managing large, diverse, multi‑service teams
* Strong people leader with the ability to build cohesion and high‑performing teams
* Commercially strong with experience managing P&L and contract performance
* Confident managing senior client relationships and stakeholder engagement
* Experience in change management, service transformation, or mobilisation
* Strong understanding of operational governance, compliance, and service delivery
