This role will sit within the SLT of one of the UK's fastest growing Marketplace brands. This person will work alongside Marketing, Product, Operations and Creative to create a best in class strategy for the brand's DTC roadmap.
The role is based in Central London 2-3 times a week. An excellent opportunity to work within a scaling VC/PE backed environment with each day being very different to the last.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end strategy for a scalable consumer product catalogue, defining what is brought to market, how supply is grown, and how the portfolio evolves over time.
* Develop and execute a data-led product and assortment strategy that balances performance, trend forecasting, margin optimisation, and brand differentiation.
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard new creative or supply partners to support catalogue expansion, audience growth, and increased repeat purchase.
* Explore and test opportunities across both physical and digital product experiences to unlock incremental growth.
* Use data, insight, and commercial judgment to inform merchandising decisions across owned and paid channels.
* Shape product presentation, packaging, on-site placement, and promotional prioritisation to improve conversion, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
* Partner with marketing and growth teams to ensure the catalogue supports acquisition, retention, and brand positioning objectives.
* Structure partner and supplier agreements to maximise long-term commercial value, margin, and scalability.
* Lead strategy around intellectual property, including acquisition, licensing models, exclusivity frameworks, and rights management.
* Balance creative ambition with commercial discipline to deliver sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
Required Experience and Skills
* 3+ years’ experience in strategy-led roles such as management consulting, corporate strategy, or equivalent high-rigour commercial environments.
* Strong analytical and quantitative capability, with the ability to translate data into clear strategic and operational decisions.
* Highly organised, delivery-focused, and comfortable owning complex workstreams end-to-end.
* Excellent prioritisation and project management skills in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
* Clear, confident communicator with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels.
* Fast learner with the ability to quickly build domain knowledge and convert insight into action.
* Commercially curious, ambitious, and comfortable operating with incomplete information.
* Strong judgment combining data, creativity, and executional pragmatism.
