The Role Position: Teacher of Maths Location: Essex Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time Considered TLR: Available for Numeracy / KS3 or KS4 Leadership (for the right candidate) As our Maths Teacher, you will: Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for KS5 if appropriate. Deliver an engaging, well-structured curriculum that builds fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills. Assess learning regularly and plan next steps to secure progress for all learners. Create a positive, supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to take risks and challenge themselves. Contribute to intervention, revision sessions and whole-school numeracy initiatives. (If applicable) Take on responsibility for a key stage or area of curriculum development. What We’re Looking For We welcome applicants who: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4. Are confident with the UK Maths curriculum and assessment frameworks. Are reflective, organised and committed to continuous improvement. Communicate clearly with students, colleagues and parents.
