Job Title: Lead Primary Homeschooling Tutor (American Curriculum)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Primary Tutor to provide temporary homeschooling support for two students (Year 5 and Year 3) from a private school in New York. The family will be based in London from January to July, and the children will require high-quality tuition to follow the American curriculum during this period.
This is an exciting opportunity for a tutor who can deliver engaging lessons, with a particular focus on Maths, while also covering the wider primary curriculum. We are looking for one Lead Tutor and a KS2 Specialist to ensure a well-rounded academic experience.
Tutors will also be encouraged to use London as an "academic playground," incorporating museums, galleries, and cultural experiences into the children's learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the American primary curriculum.
* Focus on building confidence and mastery in Maths, while supporting English and wider subjects.
* Incorporate London-based cultural and educational trips into the learning experience.
* Liaise with parents and ensure smooth continuity of the students' education while away from their school in New York.
Ideal Candidate
* Very experienced Primary Generalist, with strong subject knowledge across Maths, English, and the wider curriculum.
* Previous experience delivering the American curriculum.
* Skilled in adapting lessons to meet individual needs and making learning engaging.
* Creative, patient, and able to make use of London's cultural resources as part of the curriculum.
Role Details
* Schedule: 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday preferred).
* Location: Family home in Notting Hill, London.

Pay: £40.00-£50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
