Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a qualified experienced Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, Inspection and Maintenance on PSV buses (mainly Volvo Evora /MCV and ADL Enviro 200 buses and Yutong E10/9 Electric Buses). Would be beneficial if you had EV bus experience too, but training will be provided if not.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from complex schematics to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and mechanical system
- Manage work flow and carry out vehicle Inspections / MOT Preparations / Tyre Management.
- Repair and maintenance of vehicles
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and perform necessary repairs
- Mechanical diagnostics and electrical tasks including soldering, wiring, and testing components
- Driver defects management and vehicle record keeping.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Proficiency in interpreting schematics and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use power tools / lifts effectively
- Electrical skills (finding faults and repairing) including soldering and wiring capabilities
- A good knowledge of Alexander Dennis and Volvo products and experience in repairing them.
