Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a good understanding of food safety standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and strong time management skills are highly desirable. Duties
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards.
* Greet guests warmly and take drink orders accurately.
* Ensure all drinks are prepared safely, following food safety regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
* Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth service.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till system efficiently.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
* Assist in setting up the bar before opening hours and closing down at the end of shifts.
* Follow responsible serving policies to promote a safe environment for all patrons.
Experience
* Previous experience working in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to bar service is advantageous.
* Proven ability to serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
* Basic maths skills for handling payments and giving correct change.
* Experience in serving alcohol responsibly is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
