Operations and Customer Service Executive / Logistics Administrator. Onsite in Lympne. 5x8hrs shifts across Sunday to Friday.

Role summary
Apart of a currently small team, you will provide the very best Operations admin and Customer service and be an integral part of the business. You\'ll enjoy handling multiple tasks, working to deadlines, collaborating with colleagues, building great relationships with suppliers and clients and be adept with IT systems to ensure accuracy at all times.
Experience/Requirements
This is an import and distribution business so it makes sense that you have experience in this area and enjoy all that the logistics sector has to offer.
Location & Induction
Based in a smart office, with great coffee — and, as part of your induction as the Operations and Customer Service Executive/Logistics Administrator you will be likely to include a visit to the head office in Italy to meet the team and understand the systems; you will receive a very warm welcome.
Hours
Unlike some shift patterns in the logistics sector, you won’t have to work Saturday; however you will work 5 days a week between Sunday and Friday.
What a week looks like
* Monitor daily imported shipments arriving from Italy and coordinate deliveries with local distributors.
* Manage communication with hauliers, UK customs operators, and the Italian operation team.
* Handle “incidents” and customs delays, supporting the resolution process in cooperation with local partners and customs agents.
* Assist suppliers with documentation issues related to customs clearance, ensuring accurate and compliant information flow.
* Liaise with customs agents and transport partners to ensure smooth clearance and timely distribution.
* Handle transport documentation and operational data entry.
* Provide customer support to UK clients, ensuring timely communication and problem resolution.
* Collaborate with the Italian operation team to ensure consistency and information flow.
* Manage daily reporting and tracking through internal systems.
Immediate interview via Teams initially and then face-to-face to meet the team.
