TRS Personnel are recruiting for a well established Shrewsbury venue who are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join their kitchen leadership team. The Role As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to keep the kitchen running smoothly day to day. The venue hosts a wide range of events, from weddings and celebrations to private dining and large banqueting functions, so you’ll need to be confident working at pace while maintaining excellent standards. You’ll take a hands on role in service, support the team during major events, and step up to lead the kitchen when required. Creativity, organisation and a calm approach will be key to your success. Key Responsibilities • Supporting the Head Chef with the smooth running of the kitchen and daily service • Leading the team during weddings, banqueting events and large scale functions • Ensuring consistently high standards of food preparation, presentation and hygiene • Overseeing stock management, deliveries and waste reduction • Working closely with the front of house team to deliver seamless guest experiences • Upholding all food safety, allergen and company procedures What We’re Looking For • Experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie within hotels, events or high volume catering • Co...
