Production Operative – Pallet Manufacturing
Location: Wednesbury
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading pallet manufacturer, for hardworking and reliable Production Operatives to join their busy production team.
This is a hands-on role working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, producing wooden pallets from scratch to customer specifications. Employees who consistently meet production targets throughout the week can benefit from an early finish on Fridays while receiving full pay.
The Role
As a Production Operative, you will be involved in the manufacturing process from start to finish, ensuring pallets are produced to a high standard and within production deadlines.
Key duties include:
1. Manufacturing wooden pallets from raw materials
2. Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
3. Operating nail guns and other production equipment
4. Reading and interpreting production drawings and specifications
5. Measuring and cutting materials accurately
6. Carrying out quality checks on finished products
7. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
8. Working efficiently to meet daily and weekly production targets
The Ideal Candidate
9. Previous experience within manufacturing, production, construction, woodworking, or a similar hands-on environment is advantageous
10. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and nail guns
11. Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment accurately
12. Good attention to detail
13. Physically fit and capable of working in a busy production environment
14. Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
