Theatre Department-Hospital of St Cross, Rugby & University Hospital Coventry, & Cedar Ward, Hospital of St Cross, Rugby
Supporting the Registered Nursing staff in the delivery of personal care and assistance for patients within Theatres at University Hospital Coventry, Cedar Ward & Theatres at the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby.
Please be advised that the assessment centre and interviews will be held on the 09th of March 2026, at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire, Clinical Science Buildingfor shortlisted candidates.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
Sponsorship is unable to be supported with this role.

We are looking to recruit passionate and enthusiastic people who either hold a health and social care qualification BTEC level 2 or above or have experience in a person-centred & public facing role to become healthcare support workers within Theatres at University Hospital Coventry & the Hospital of St Cross- Rugby & Cedar Ward- Orthopaedics at Hospital of St Cross, Rugby.
If you have excellent communication skills, have a caring and compassionate nature, have the desire to help others and the drive to develop a rewarding career you will be proud of, then we want to hear from you.

Cedar Ward Hospital of St Cross, Rugby
Supporting the Registered Nursing staff in providing assistance and personal care for patients at Rugby, St Cross Hospital part of University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire. We have vacancies within Trauma and Orthopaedics on Cedar Ward. Cedar Ward is 41 bedded ward that cares for patients undergoing elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery. Fourteen of our beds care for trauma patients who have commenced their inpatient journey at University Hospital in Coventry who are transferred to Rugby to continue their recovery. We also have a ten bedded area which is used for our day case hip and knee replacements. Cedar Ward is a busy dynamic ward where you will have plenty of opportunity to develop skills and become part of a friendly team delivering high standards of care.
Theatres UHCW- Coventry & Hospital of St Cross, Rugby
HCSWS in Theatres have an important role in making sure patients, who may be anxious about going into the operating theatre feel as calm and comfortable as possible, working with other members of the theatre team, including theatre nurses, anaesthetists, surgeons, operating department practitioners and administrative staff.
