The West London Children are seeking a dynamic, proactive and highly motivated individual to join the inpatients administrative and clerical team as a ward administrator. You will be an integral member of the team providing effective day-to-day clerical support to facilitate the smooth running of the ward, with scope to develop on rotation in Children’s Outpatient Department.
Our paediatric team provide a wide range of specialist and general services for children and young people. The majority of our services are based at St Mary’s Hospital, which is also home to our paediatric A&E department and paediatric intensive care unit.
We are looking for candidates dedicated to delivering excellent patient experience, who are comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This post is a full time basis of 37.5 hours per week. Please note this post will also require working weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
* Effective delivery of clerical and reception duties on the ward.
* Input and maintenance of accurate patient information on Trust information systems.
* Provision of excellent customer service to members of the public and staff who visit or contact the ward.
* Contribution to positive patient experiences.
* Action daily activities in retrospect of reporting.
