Deputy Care Manager
Burrow Down Support Service
Location: TQ3 1RN
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Care Manager to join our team at Burrow Down Support Service, a small 3-bed service supporting individuals with complex needs and autism.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who is passionate about high-quality, person-centred care and confident supporting both staff and the registered manager in the day-to-day running of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Care Manager with the effective running of the service
* Leading and supervising staff to deliver high-quality care
* Ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed and updated
* Supporting individuals with complex needs and autism in a safe, respectful way
* Maintaining compliance with CQC standards and company policies
* Participating in rota management and covering shifts when required
* Taking part in on-call duties as part of the management team
About You:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
* Experience working with individuals with complex needs and autism
* Previous senior or leadership experience within a care setting
* Flexible, reliable, and able to work a 40-hour week across shifts
* Confident, organised, and able to lead by example
* Willing and able to participate in on-call duties
