Commercial Learning & Development Assessor
We are currently recruiting a Commercial Learning & Development Assessor to join the team at the Volkswagen National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes. The L&D Assessor enables learners to demonstrate performance of the relevant Volkswagen Group UK assessment standards and will work within the National Learning Centre, as part of the Commercial Training Team, reporting to the Commercial L&D Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Support learners through the Volkswagen Group UK training, assessment, and certification processes
* Deliver assessment activity – including learner management – in a learner‑centric, fair and inclusive manner
* Assist others with the delivery of assessment activity, including role‑playing during simulated tasks
* Communicate information about assessment activity – responsibilities, instructions, feedback and next steps – in an accessible, clear and easy‑to‑understand way to provide personalised and constructive feedback
* Maintain accurate records of assessment activity, including updates to the Learning Management System (LMS)
* Develop and maintain assessment activities to ensure assessment criteria, methodologies and outputs remain consistent, fair, reliable and valid for learners and compliant with the relevant Volkswagen Group UK assessment standards
* Work with the Commercial Training Team Assessment Executive and Training Manager to review learner engagement and performance indicators and take action to achieve assessment delivery KPIs
* Support the Commercial Training Team’s quality assurance and standardisation processes
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as defined by line management

* Experience with course competencies and mapping these to assessment requirements

* Good knowledge of IT, particularly Learning Management Systems and Microsoft packages
* Organised and good time‑keeping
* Live within a commutable distance to Milton Keynes

Salary & Benefits

Contract & Working Hours
Permanent / Full Time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Place of Work
Volkswagen Group National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes. Hybrid working with at least 60% of time in the National Learning Centre; up to 40% remote. Time spent in the office may change. Work may also be required from alternative locations such as VWG facilities and retailers.

The successful candidate will undergo standard employment checks, including contact with nominated referees, ID, driving licence (if appropriate) and right to work in the UK. Additional checks may be required, and a DBS check may be necessary.
