Performance & Patient Tracking Coordinator – Cambridge
We are supporting a major programme aimed at elective recovery and reducing waiting lists, and we’re looking for a highly organised individual to help drive operational performance across the service.
About the Role
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely patient tracking and supporting performance improvement across multiple departments. Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and updating patient tracking lists (PTLs)
* Working closely with operational teams to gather accurate information and resolve data issues
* Liaising with managers across the service to support performance reporting
* Collaborating with departments to ensure smooth information flow and effective decision‑making
* Producing clear, accurate reporting for the senior lead on site
What We’re Looking For
* NHS experience is essential, ideally with exposure to patient information, RTT processes, PTLs, or operational performance
* Confident stakeholder engagement skills — comfortable speaking with colleagues at all levels
* Strong Excel ability (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleansing, analysis)
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work at pace
* Able to work on‑site in Cambridge, 4 days per week
* 3‑month fixed‑term contract (potential to extend, but not guaranteed)
* Start date: Ideally within 2 weeks
