We are pleased to announce that we are recruiting for an experienced General Practice Nurse with previous experience in primary care of 1 year minimum. Expected treatment room duties are to include wound care, cytology, childhood immunisations and other treatment room duties. Travel immunisations, long term condition management (Asthma/COPD) are desirable or a willingness to train in these areas. As a practice we encourage growth, training and investment in all our staff therefore ongoing CPD and target areas is to be expected.
Thisis a part time position offering 19-25 hours per week over 3-4 days (open to discussion) with the opportunity to participate with your team members in extended access hours.
Remuneration is open to discussion but will be dependent on your general practice experience and skillset. Annual leave is generous and increases with length of service. We consider ourselves competitive in both of these areas and focus heavily onsupporting the health and wellbeing of our staff.
Main duties of the job
Ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to the whole practice population, together with the delivery of evidence based practice for patients with long term conditions
You will work collaboratively with the whole general practiceteam under the guidance and supervision of our Nurse Manager to meet the needs of our patients, and to supporting the delivery of our policy andprocedures through a team approach.

As an individual practice we have 15200 registered patients and growing.
