Job Description
3. Prepare and maintain financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
4. Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.
5. Support senior accountants with audits and financial reporting tasks.
6. Handle reconciliations, including bank and supplier accounts.
7. Contribute to the preparation of tax returns and VAT submissions.
8. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
9. Collaborate with clients to resolve queries and provide financial advice as needed.
10. Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and industry practices.
The Successful Applicant
A successful part-qualified accountant should have:
11. Progress towards a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
12. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
13. Experience in preparing financial statements and management accounts.
14. 2+ years experience working in practice.
15. Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
16. An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
17. The ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
