Job Overview
We are seeking four dedicated and reliable team members to join our growing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy and welcoming. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a commitment to high standards of cleanliness, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Overtime is available, as is flexibility around school drop off and collection times.
Working hours for two positions will be from Monday-Friday, either school time hours (between :30) over four or five days, or longer days (between 07:00-15:00) over three days.
Working hours for our other two positions will be 04:00-08:00 three days a week, between Monday-Friday completing commercial cleans. You must have a full UK driving license and access to your own car, please don't apply if you don't have either of these as it's absolutely essential for the role.
Responsibilities
* Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
* Ensure all surfaces are dusted, wiped down, and sanitised as required.
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately while adhering to recycling guidelines.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
* Provide excellent customer service by being approachable and responsive to client needs.
Skills
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
* A proactive drive to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently within designated timeframes.
* Attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results in all cleaning tasks.
This is a role where you will be employed by Maid it Sparkle and part of an appreciated and valued team, as opposed to being self employed. Each of our team has 6 weeks paid holiday per year, the option to enrol in a workplace pension scheme, wages are paid weekly every Friday (£13.00 per hour). Mileage is also paid weekly.
