Main Responsibilities
The role supports the Data Management and Corporate Reporting Lead in delivering an efficient Data Management Programme and ensuring strategic programme targets are met.
Post specific responsibilities for the role are:
1. Develop products, processes, and systems to support management of programmes of work (Power BI, Automate, Excel, MS flows).
2. Serve as the Infrastructure Management System (IMS) Superuser.
3. Support the delivery of Data Management Projects, including initiatives to improve data architecture and system use.
4. Provide subject matter knowledge, skills, and support.
5. Support the delivery of effective information systems training across all Estates Functions.
6. Oversee the delivery of corporate reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
Location
The role can be based within any of the stated locations. The successful candidate will need to attend their chosen office location on at least 2 days a week for face-to-face meetings, collaboration, and to meet business requirements.
Other DIO locations may be considered, ensuring the location can meet the business and travel requirements of the role.

If travelling outside your base location for duty reasons, you will have access to flights, hire cars, rail tickets, and overnight accommodation. You can also claim 45 pence per mile if using your own vehicle for business travel.
Some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working, subject to capacity and workplace adjustments. All office-based employees are expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in the office. Requests for further information can be directed to the Vacancy Holder. DIO Business Area – Estates
The Defence estate is one of the largest landholdings in the UK, covering approximately 1.8% of the UK land mass (over 200,000 hectares), with a significant UK Defence presence overseas.
Estates is the in-house real estate team within DIO, supporting infrastructure needs across the Defence Public Estate. We acquire, manage, safeguard, and dispose of Defence real estate, providing in-depth advice to Military customers.
Programme Management Office (PMO)
The DIO PMO is a pan-Estates team supporting the Estates delivery programme and its delivery teams through centralised data, programme, and business management.
The Data Management and Corporate Reporting Team (DMCR) within the PMO is responsible for collating, organising, and managing Estates data to support analysis, decision-making, and reporting.
