Full-Time - 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
About the Role

We are currently looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our team in Plymouth. Based primarily at customer sites, you will play a vital role in ensuring equipment is maintained to the highest standards, service schedules are adhered to, and customers receive rapid support when breakdowns occur.
This is a hands‑on, field‑based position where no two days are the same. You will be working both independently and collaboratively to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance of hire equipment at customer sites
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs quickly and effectively
* Respond promptly to breakdowns, minimising downtime for customers
* Ensure all equipment service records and schedules are accurate and up to date
* Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong working relationships
* Support operational efficiency across your business unit
* Contribute to delivering the company's ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver
What We're Looking For
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Proven mechanical engineering experience (ideally within hire, plant, or a similar engineering environment)
* Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills
* Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a wider team
* A proactive and customer‑focused approach
