MAIN JOB PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to provide service helpdesk support to our AV clients across the UK and Europe. The role requires the candidate to answer the phone and log service calls within agreed SLA's, provide telephone and remote access support and send engineers to sites to resolve issues that cannot be resolved remotely. From time to time, there may be a requirement to attend site to resolve service calls as part of the role. The majority of our clients consist of, but are not limited to, retail and hospitality outlets. We provide a range of services from specification and design to installation and maintenance and we have our own digital signage and background music platforms.
DUTIES
· Answer phones and provide remote access and telephone support for clients with issues on site with AV equipment.
· Learning about AV equipment that we install and how it is installed.
· Creating instruction documentation & health and safety documentation for engineers to follow when attending site to resolve an issue or carry out an installation.
· Following instructions and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
· Learning how to test AV equipment, both installed and in the warehouse.
· Attending training course relevant to the role, such as ECS/CSCS training & Asbestos Awareness training.
· Ensuring engineers take photographs of installed equipment and completing all relevant completion sign off documentation as per instructions.
· Monitoring customer SLA's and ensuring that we meet the required SLA's.
· Ad hoc duties as determined by your line manager.
· General warehouse & workshop duties where required.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
· A full UK driving licence is required as driving to customer sites is essential.
· The successful candidate must be willing to stay away from home overnight from time to time as required.
· Good IT skills required (you will be required to use MS Office & will be taught how to setup AV/IT devices).
· Polite telephone manner.
· An interest in AV products and services.

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
