Overview
The Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific Operating Division represents over $1.6 bn in net sales. The Commercial Effectiveness Director leads and continuously improves the Global Integrated Business Planning process and develops a full commercial capability agenda at EAA level.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, continuously improving meeting and process standards, documentation, and systems.
* Develop capabilities in teams to ensure cross‑functional collaboration and shared accountability during all IBP process steps.
* Champion cross‑functional KPIs to build alignment at all levels.
* Ensure accountability for all team members to agreed process standards.
* Implement PMO recommendations on IBP and integrate IBP with other organizational processes.
* Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Global Production, and Finance teams to execute best‑in‑class IBP processes.
* Drive the IBP activity cycle, ensuring functions are prepared, visible, and communicate sales, demand, distribution, and supply trends.
* Develop and deploy commercial capability curriculum across all EAA markets.
* Lead refresher/revamp of the B‑F Commercial Way and update it for current realities.
* Connect to the global L&D function to align approaches.
* Support ad hoc projects related to process and system infrastructure improvement within EAA.
* Provide timely internal communication to EAA Leadership teams.
* Partner with IT to automate reporting, scenario planning, and implementation of commercial capability platforms.
* Develop key relationships with Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Global Production teams.
* Provide strategic direction, project leadership, and tactical support for key commercial initiatives.
* Improve distributor supply chain efficiency and partner integration.
* Identify and share solutions for slow‑moving inventory concerns.
* Contribute to new product commercialization.
Qualifications
* 10+ years of business experience in the CPG or alcohol beverage industry, with commercial and operational roles.
* Proven track record of building and guiding high‑performing teams.
* Experience setting clear milestones and leading projects to achieve positive results.
* Strong facilitation skills for cross‑functional meetings involving senior executives.
* Excellent communication at all organizational levels and ability to drive accountability in a culturally appropriate manner.
