* Good knowledge on financial services with a focus on EQD products, pricing and algorithmic trading principles
* Good Knowledge on systems (Unix, Linux, Windows)
* Good Knowledge of IBM Websphere MQ and Tibco RV
* Good knowledge on Web application servers and portals
* Good Databases skills : Oracle SQL queries writing and analysis
* Basic knowledge on scripting (eg. Python)
* Practical understanding of production processes, including change and release management
Skills:
* Good incident and problem management skills
* High motivation to learn a huge and complex environment
* Analytical and able to solve complex problems
* Must have driven, enthusiasm and be committed to work.
* Must be able to work with minimal supervision and be able to use own initiative
* Has enough expertise to grasp the key functional issues of the proposed solutions.
* Ability to understand complex functionalities and end to end chain of applications.
Experience:
First class degree of top university
Candidates must have relevant experience in a similar role, the majority of which should have been gained within Front Office Trading environments. They must be experienced in providing support as part of a team, and have practical understanding of the criticality of trading applications.
