Electrical Building Services Design Engineer | London | Consultancy Role with Client-Facing FocusA growing and forward-thinking building services consultancy is seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join its dynamic team in London. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity suited to a technically strong, motivated professional with a passion for electrical design across diverse sectors.You will play a key role in delivering innovative and compliant electrical designs for residential, educational, commercial, and healthcare projectscovering all RIBA stages from early concept through to completion. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment and enjoys taking full ownership of their projects from design to handover.Your Role Will Include:Designing and developing electrical building services solutions from RIBA Stages 1 to 4Overseeing and managing projects during RIBA Stages 5 and 6, ensuring technical and delivery excellenceLiaising directly with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to interpret requirements and present solutionsPreparing clear and detailed reports, specifications, and technical documentsConducting site visits and inspections, providing project oversight and guidance through to completionCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design interfaces and deliverablesPlaying an active part in client relationship management and supporting business development initiativesWhat Were Looking For:Minimum HND qualification in Electrical Engineering (degree preferred)At least 5 years of experience delivering building services electrical design across all RIBA stagesDemonstrated experience in client-facing roles with strong interpersonal and presentation skillsProficient in AutoCAD, with experience using other design and calculation software advantageousHigh level of proficiency in MS Word and Excel for report writing and specification developmentValid UK driving licence, business insurance, and access to own vehicle for site visitsEnergetic, proactive, and self-motivated team player with excellent communication and leadership skillsA passion for continuous learning and maintaining up-to-date industry knowledgeWhats on Offer:£50,000 - £60,000 + PackageSupportive and collaborative consultancy environmentCareer progression opportunities within a growing practiceDiverse project portfolio spanning multiple sectorsExposure to full project lifecycle responsibilityTPBN1_UKTJ
