Personal Assistants have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants, but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone with a learning disability to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be! Each person we support has different needs, so your role as Personal Assistant may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling, or positive behavioural support while expanding their social networks and connections.
Responsibilities
Assist individuals with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support. Expand social networks and connections. Provide essential support such as preparing meals, administering medication, assistance with finances and housework. Support individuals through their personal support plans to achieve goals and celebrate successes.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate the following:

* The commitment to work with individuals through their personal support plans to ensure people achieve their goals and outcomes and celebrate their successes.
* A positive and flexible outlook towards your work, and the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
About Largs Site
Staff will be on site 24 hours per day to provide support when required, and there are a variety of shifts available. You will be provided with any training required. The site includes 22 homes in this complex and each person receives individualised support. Staff are recruited based on values and transferable skills; experience in care is not required.

Additional Information
This role requires registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of start date.
