We are looking for a Customer Delivery Operative – HGV Class 2 to deliver goods to customers, whilst also providing an excellent customer service experience. In this role, you will: Take pride in being responsible for ensuring customers receive the hire equipment they have ordered or collected, on time and in a positive, friendly manner Ensure we meet our target of 98% on-time delivery Resolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as needed Load and unload THX’s hire equipment using appropriate lifting equipment and manual handling techniques Follow safe working processes while driving and loading/unloading. YOU MAY ALSO: Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are met Operate THX’s delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipment Raise issues and opportunities to improve the THX operations Identify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales team During quieter periods, you may be required to support our Warehouse and/or Workshop department. The full-time schedule ranges from start times between 5:00am-7.30am, Monday to Friday. Requirements IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE: Experience in providing excellent customer service A valid, clean UK HGV Class 2 licence and up-to-date CPC Experience in driving and delivering goods Familiarity with IT and navigation systems.
