Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the band 5 physiotherapy rotation at BHRUT. The trust offers a wide range of rotations at Queens Hospital, Romford and King George Hospital, Goodmayes. You will gain experience across MSK, Respiratory, Neurosciences, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Pelvic Health, Stroke, Medical, Acute Frailty and Elderly, supported by experienced clinicians and our Senior Intern for AHPS. There are opportunities to take part in service development projects and receive regular in-service training and supervision. Applications are welcome from both new and existing Band 5 Physiotherapists.
To provide physiotherapy assessment, treatment, management and discharge planning to patients in the rotations including neuromusculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedic inpatients, medical inpatients, ITU and surgery inpatients, stroke and neurology inpatients, neuroscience inpatients, inpatient elderly wards, acute frailty service and pelvic health service as determined by the rotation, facilitating and maximising patient potential within the service boundaries.
To participate in the Band 5 rotational scheme which involves working across the Trust in a range of ward settings and outpatient departments.

Responsibilities
* Provide physiotherapy assessment, treatment, management and discharge planning to patients in the stated rotations (neuros: musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedic inpatients, medical inpatients, ITU and surgery inpatients, stroke and neurology inpatients, neuroscience inpatients, inpatient elderly wards, acute frailty service and pelvic health service as rotation requires).
* Participate in the Band 5 rotational scheme across the Trust, working in a range of ward settings and outpatient departments.
