JOB TITLE – Teaching Assistant
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a Primary School based in Bristol.
The school has a supportive team environment and offers regular CPD opportunities to help staff develop their skills.
Depending on performance, the contract may be extended or lead to a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location: Bristol
2. Position: Teaching Assistant
3. Type: Full-Time – Monday to Friday
4. Day Rate: £90 – £110 per day
5. Hours: 8:20 am – 3:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
6. Experience working in a UK school – essential
7. Up-to-date safeguarding training (issued within the last 12 months)
8. Interest or experience in working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
9. Understanding of Autism, Speech and Language Needs
10. Strong communication skills and a positive approach to supporting children
11. Experience in education, childcare, or support-based roles is desirable
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
12. Hold Right to Work in the UK
13. Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS registered on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
14. Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
