We're on the lookout for a Customer Service Coordinator to become a key part of our dynamic Customer Service Team, acting as the friendly and professional face of Tarmac in daily interactions with our valued customers.
Main Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Coordinator, you’ll work cross-functionally to ensure smooth and effective communication with customers, supporting their needs from initial contact through to resolution. Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Taking ownership of customer enquiries and orders via phone and email, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
Delivering a high standard of customer care, creating a positive experience with every interaction
Performing data entry and sales processing with precision, maintaining accurate records throughout the day
Collaborating with team members to exchange information and resolve issues efficiently
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the continuous enhancement of our services
Maintaining accurate customer data within the CRM system
Communicating regularly with internal departments such as Finance, Depot, and Purchasing
Supporting the delivery of in-demand products and contributing to business profitability
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, introducing new products and technologies
Developing industry-leading product knowledge through training, research, and self-studyThis is a Monday to Friday role with a rostered Saturday morning (worked from home). After successful training, the position offers the flexibility of hybrid working as part of a team rotation.
