Overview
Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service is a local charity that provides specialist care and vital support to babies, children and young people with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, and their families, across Berkshire and the surrounding counties. We are seeking a passionate and motivated Practice Facilitator to join our dedicated Care Team. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with a focus on education and development, helping to ensure the highest standards of children's palliative and end-of-life care.
Responsibilities
* Work with the Lead for Practice Education to support, mentor and develop the team to embed a positive culture of learning.
* Deliver and coordinate training programmes, student placements and preceptorships.
* Contribute to policy development, research and collaborative working with our partners.
* As part of the role, work clinically as part of the Care Team, ensuring skills and knowledge remain current.
Qualifications
* Registered children’s nurse with at least two years’ relevant clinical experience.
* An interest in developing skills in training and education.
