Tasks

To operate effectively in a delivery focused and often fast-paced environment, working within the planning department to create an effective schedule for execution by the teams on all jobs, using information gained from the client and the department managers.

* Craft an efficient schedule for the execution by the teams on all jobs
* Access employee hours spent on projects and create reports on efficiency
* Work with staff from different departments to collaborate and main coordination
* Assisting in implementing maintenance planning and scheduling processes and developing process improvements
* Keep accurate metrics on the performance of planning and scheduling functions and provide timely
* Provide input to management and suggest improvements for efficiency
* Develop a daily schedule to secure adequate resources to complete all jobs
* Ensure all works orders and maintenance log items are closed when work is finished


Requirements

Key Skills (Essential)

* NRSWA (Awareness)
* The ability to self-motivate and work within a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations
* Demonstrated customer focus with an ability to resolve complex issues with an eye for detail
* Ability to understand the importance of priority of work tasks
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to create sketches
* Confidence in using computer packages and familiarity with planning tools
* The ability to work under pressure to deadlines
* I.T literate particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
* Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
* Team player, but also comfortable working alone
* Understands the need for respect, sensitivity and discretion in a public facing role
* Some flexibility of working hours may be required
* Self-Motivated, enthusiastic and calm under pressure

Key Skills (Desirable)

* Basic CAD skills
