The role would suit a motivated salesperson with experience in the electronics sector, either with a component manufacturer or distributor.Responsibilities for Sales Engineer / Area Sales ManagerAs Regional Business Manager, you will manage and grow a South East territory through account management and new business development. You will spend around three days per week visiting customers, with Mondays and Fridays used for planning, administration and pipeline management.Manage and grow customer accounts across the South East territoryBook and attend 6 to 8 customer appointments per weekDevelop new business with OEMs, EMS providers, design houses and engineering-led customersPresent electronic and electromechanical product solutions to engineering and procurement teamsManage CRM updates, forecasting, pipeline and customer project activitySupport customer requirements from concept through to productionRequirements for Sales Engineer / Area Sales ManagerThe ideal candidate will have sales experience within the electronics sector, ideally with a component manufacturer or distributor.
You should be confident managing customer meetings, developing new accounts and supporting technical sales conversations with engineers and purchasing teams.Minimum 1 year of experience within the electronics sectorProven ability in business development, account management or technical salesUnderstanding of electronic components and customer applicationsExperience booking and managing customer meetings in a field sales environmentKnowledge of passive components, electromechanical parts, connectors or PCB technology would be beneficialFull UK driving licenceTPBN1_UKTJ
